Hello, I am Alea and I like to ask questions about the world.

In the new optiMEAS children's book ?Digi? who, what?? you can learn with me and my daddy what digitalization means.

We talk about the number language 'machinic', invisible nets, sweating excavators and clever cabinet clouds, but also about nature, compassion and dealing with technology.

Available free of charge from us or as an eBook in the Apple Store or in the Google Playstore.

The publication of a Kindle version on Amazon has taken place in February 2021. Unfortunately, we cannot offer the Kindle version free of charge. The minimum price for an eBook on Amazon is $3 (USD).

However, we will donate all the proceeds to a children's project.

Digi? who, what?

Burkhard Schranz had the idea for the children's book when he wanted to explain to his daughter, who loves to read aloud, what he does at work. From the pen of mum Solveig Kerber, a complex topic was turned into a children's story with examples of application from the optiMEAS Everyday life. The bright and curious Alea was born, lovingly illustrated by Florence Baumeister.

Digitalisation in general offers a technical potential that is becoming increasingly widespread in many areas of life and work. Therefore, we believe that it is also beneficial for children to be introduced to the topic. ?Digi? who, what?? gives a small insight into the field of application of optiMEAS as a solution partner for industrial digitalisation. But with the book we also want to show that dealing with technology is important, that playing in nature is an important balance and that a responsible decision is based on human empathy. Even though the given framework can only be an approximation of some aspects.

A second volume with Alea on the topic of 'Business with Heart ? Heart Business? will follow soon. Here we would like to talk about what kind of dealings and values are important to us. In this context, we will also talk about individual interests and abilities.
